TWISTING SCRIPTURE
Twisting Scripture is interpreting it so that our Heavenly Father appears less merciful than a decent human father. Moreover, twisting Scripture fosters bondage to fear which obviously isn't from God. God hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind. Twisting Scripture fosters legalistic bondage. Jesus said that the truth makes us FREE, not despair-ridden and hopeless, always scrambling to survive a coming judgment of a monster "God."
Twisting Scripture renders it impossible NOT to worry about today OR tomorrow, for after all, eternal destinies-are in the balance and everything you do wrong or right today may have ETERNAL CONSEQUENCES tomorrow!
SO YOU CANNOT BE TOO CAREFUL.
For what you do or fail to do today or tomorrow affects--not only your eternal destiny--but also that of your loved ones, friends, coworkers and neighbors.
Twisting Scripture makes hell bigger than heaven, Satan more influential than God, evil stronger than good and just as infinitely enduring as good. Twisting Scripture puts tenderhearted, sincere, impressionable people in psychiatric hospitals, binds them to self-medicating addictions to various chemical and emotional and sexual "painkillers."
Twisting Scripture is declaring war on the Savior of the World who has come to set the captives FREE! It's laying heavy burdens on people, as did the scribes and Pharisees, and not lifting a finger to help them carry them. Twisting Scripture is shutting the door to Christ's kingdom in the faces of the world's most needy people and refusing to enter it oneself.
Twisting Scripture is proclaiming "the fear of the Lord" as being both the beginning AND the end of wisdom, and not realizing that godly fear means reverent awe of the Lord and not dreadful paranoia of the Lord.
Twisting Scripture is the devious work of the spirit of ANTICHRIST.
But never fear, my friend. This false christ is being obliterated in the blazing brilliance of our True Lord and Savior's appearing!
